I created this free Notion template to help you organise and plan any event from start to finish. Here's how you can use it! 1. Date & Venue On the first page, you decide your event's time, date and venue. You can use a timeline database to visualise how far away the event is and plan the dates you need to order and book the things you need for the event. Embed a countdown widget from Indify to count down the days till your event. Embed the Google Maps location of your event, and put any information about the venue on this page. 2. Theme Depending on the scale of your event, you may want to plan out the theme of the decorations of your event and the dress code. You can embed Pinterest pins and insert images for inspiration. 3. Invitation Don't forget to make a nice invitation for your event (which is shaping up to be pretty good thanks to this template). You can use a template from Canva to whip up a nice design quickly. Incorporate your event theme into the flyer. You can embed your Canva design into Notion. I embed Indify counters into the template so you can add the numbers of people that have RSVP'd. 4. Food If you're doing a potluck, you can use a table database to assign dishes to different people and add the prices. 5. Games This section really depends on the nature of the event. You can list game ideas and figure out if you need to buy anything to play them. 6. Decoration Use a table database to list the décor items you need to buy, list the prices to ensure within budget and tick off the stuff after you buy it. You can bookmark links to the sites you need to order them from and add contacts with phone numbers and links in another table. 7. Playlist Embed a Spotify or YouTube playlist into Notion. That brings me to the end of this post! Hope you found it useful and let me know if you have suggestions for more Notion templates.
